Gargoyles Meme

Gargoyles! Gargoyles was an awesome cartoon. And I recently downloaded and watched the entire series in one go. And it completely blew me away, how well written Gargoyles really was. Well...season 1 and 2 anyway. The Goliath Chronicles can kiss my bum.

So yes. Gargoyles. This lead to a Gargoyles Meme being filled out! And hey, it was pretty fun. I didn't use much reference (as seen by poor Brooklyn's face) and this was the first time I've drawn anything from scratch using photoshop only. So hey, it came out pretty good.

1- Self-explanatory. ............Getoutofmyhouse.

2- My immediate favourite Gargoyle was Brooklyn. Hey, what can I say, if I knew the dude in real life we would SO get along. But, then, Lexington grew on me, and it was a tie between the two.......... BUT THEN I read the comics and, though she is not drawn here, Constance is the MOST EPIC Gargoyle ever. Such a kick-ass chick - Coco is so getting a tribute picture.

3- ...Yeah. No least favs. So....Goliath vs. rocket-jalapeno with fists is what you get.

4- Lex and Brooklyn vs. THE KRAKEN. Or at least it was supposed to be. But it doesn't look very Kraken-ish. So they're fighting the Squoctopus now.

5- VINNIE. GRIGORI. Anyone who spends an ENTIRE EPISODE getting their butt handed to them by unfortunate accidents time and time again JUST so they can hit Goliath in the face with a banana cream pie, fired from an expensive custom-made pie-bazooka named Mr. Carter..........yeah. I laughed so hard I snorted grape juice.

6- Hudson just really needed to punch someone before this meme was done.

7- Heeee, Bronxy and Boudicca~ I honestly wanted to draw something Brooklyn/Katana here, but after finding out this whole 'Lex is gay' thing was true and reading how the creator, Greg Weisman, treated the whole thing...wow. Just wow. So much respect for the guy. So far as I know, Lex won't end up with Staghart; but, whether you approve or not, I decided to draw this pair for two reasons. One, no one should have to be ashamed of their sexuality be they fictional or not; and two, out of immense respect for Greg Weisman being brave enough to stay true to who he feels his characters truly are. ...Brooklyn and Katana will have their own picture soon :3

8- OMG LMAOLMAOLMAOLMAOLMAO YES.

9- Pretty faces are so overrated.

10- .......I really just wanted to draw Lexington wearing that hat. Hurrrrr~
